The Law Offices of Nelson & Kennard formed in 1986 as a partnership consisting of Donald G. Nelson and Robert Scott Kennard. The firm’s focus at that time was service to the automobile finance industry including the collection of deficiency balances, replevin, creditor representation in bankruptcy and defense work.
By 1995, the firm had evolved into a full-service collection firm including the collection of automobile deficiency balances, credit cards (both direct placement and purchased debt), consumer lines, commercial and mortgage.
Having merged with The Law Offices of David A. Bauer, P.C. in 2016, and The Law offices of Marvin Dang in 2020, the firm currently services California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, Hawaii, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Oklahoma.
